I was currently trying to finish some pending drafts when this kiddo (Jayson) came to me and asked me why I’m busy (I explained). I allowed him to watch and play for a while, good thing I have installed some apps. for the kids. He was curious when he saw the webcam so I let him try it, initial reaction? surprised. I told him how it works and then THIS. ♥

(Define SIOPAO CHEEEEKS? HAHAHAHAHA. :D HE’S BORED.)
Believe me, being their sister has never been so easy. Unnecessary fights and annoying noises everyday. HYPER CREATURES! ♥

I love them. They make me happy and they’re to sweet!
THE END.
Before the semester ended, our professor required us to submit a project where we can apply some of the skills we learned from the subject he taught. (weh?) Good thing that group selections were not done randomly, It’s more fun and easy when you accomplish a task with the people whom you are comfortable to be with.
T’was a happy afternoon and I had a fuuuuuuuun shoooooot with these awesome people.

(from L-R: Diorella Filomeno, Anthony Fullero, Lorie Laine Galang, Rhonj Santos, Rose Cases, Francis de Lara, Ana Andrea Ching, Nina Lagatic and ME)

PS: I feel blessed to have good people around me. MJ’s I love y’all, thank you for being there whenever I needed someone to talk to and for giving support with the choices that I make (weh?) This may sound cheesy but I want you guuuuise to know that my college life has been so awesome and fun so far because you are in it. ♥

4:28 AM and I’m still wide awake. I can’t sleep. how are you guuuise?
I think I’ve been missing a lot of things here, “Mayer” stuff? Finally, I was able to listen the preview of the Born and Raised! I know, late. sorry. *blaming the stuff to do at office and fail internet connection* I was literally shaking and nervous at the same time when I tried to visit the site. His voice that I missed, the sound of his guitar, melody from the harmonica and the lyrics of every new song, EVERYTHING IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND PERFECT. I so badly want to wait and hear the songs and the album in its entirety -___- You know that feeling when you hear a song for the first time and the lyrics hit you so hard that you feel it in your heart, your mind, and your soul and you feel like you want to cry, He never fails to make me happy with le music he creates. ♥
*forgive le awkward smile / 1st frame *
Credits to my younger brother (James) for taking this picture.
PS: I miss having a short talk with some of the friends I have here (you know your names), lez talk! leave a message on my ask box! :)
T’was the feast / celebration at Rhonj’s place and it has been planned that we visit her house to eat and talk about some stuff. (school, people, friends, etc.)

We didn’t sleep, there are a lot of things that happened that night.

Arthur visited too! for some reason he’s too busy that’s why I’m so happy to see him again that night, after a very long time the trio was complete again. :)
THE END.
PS: (forgive the silly face of moine! - sleepy eyes and awkward smiles)
As promised by our Org. President, I together with my co-trainees are eligible to attend the Agora Youth Strategic Marketing Bootcamp. This is a FIRST in Synergy Training History. We are about to complete all 4 sessions (conducted every Saturdays, it made me able to visit different schools too…) where in all the attendees are given an in-depth discussion of the different concepts of Marketing. The invited panel of speakers are truly the best in the industry and I feel so lucky to be able to meet and listen to them personally.
Here are some of the speakers I remembered and the topics they discussed.
Pictures are taken during our last session at Yuchengco Bldg., De La Salle University-Manila
One thing I hate about about the schedule is that we have classes until 12pm and we need to hurry and be at the venue in less than 1 hr. define hassle? we arrived late and we were not able to hear one talk that afternoon.
Ms. Yayu while giving us introduction and highlights of the topic to be discussed by the next speaker

Mrs. Yoling Sevilla - President and COO, Leather Collection

She introduced us to the idea of good corporate citizenship, challenged us to become marketers who would meet and exceed marketing objectives and promote society’s good at the same time. She also presented interesting case studies that session. In return, of the support she has contributed to the bootcamp, a Certificate of Appreciation was given to her.

Good thing, I was able to bring the camera with me, I took a lot of pictures together with them.

We stayed for few hours, some of them planned for the upcoming projects and other stuff, they have their mini group meetings while I am busy taking pictures. hahahaha. :)

THE END.
At our class we have a subject called E-Global Marketing. It is concerned on bringing your products /services on a worldwide scale and stuff related to the marketing mix. One of the major requirements we need to do is to organize an event, a seminar that would let students have an in-depth knowledge about any particular topic or principle related to it. After brainstorming activities, meetings, looking for a good venue, partnering with sponsors, we prepared and finalized everything. we came up with THIS.

Some of the shots taken before the event started.
Almost all of us are nervous because this was our first time to organize a big event, but we need to be positive relaxed and happy. :)

The class decided that our event will be held at a cinema to accommodate more participants. I personally felt so happy and nervous at the same time when I saw the line of students, preparing and showing their support to us by attending our event.

We started by the time that almost all seats are taken and the notable speakers are already at the venue.

Fedrilyn and Diorella (hosts) as they welcome and greet the participants and Professor Blessing Glova as she gave her welcome remarks and an overview to the topics that would be discussed by the speakers.

I would like you to meet the notable speakers we invited, experts in the field of Marketing who shared a lot of good stuff / knowledge to the audience that day.

(CUSTOMER BRAND LOYALTY)
3. Mr. Jerry Yao

(CONCEPTS OF GLOBAL MARKETING)
All of them discussed their topics very well and shared interesting case studies and experiences related to the field he chose to work on.

After every talk, students were also given the chance to ask questions, they were able to watch performances and take home freebies given by our sponsors.
All the stressful weeks of planning and celebration are finally over, Our event may not be perfect but I’m so happy things turned out so good.

The whole class was satisfied for the result / success of our event and after that we had this little celebration and had our dinner at Mcdo, smiling faces everywhere! :)

THE END.
Whenever I’m on a school break or if my schedule would allow me, my aunt would immediately ask me to report at the company she’s currently working now. I’m currently under the accounting department and works as a auditor and checker of files, this has been a part-time job. I thank her because the money I earn from work somehow helps me in paying some expenses and and allows me to save as well. I usually go to the office with my schoolmate during those weekdays with no classes. This past few days, the whole class have been bombarded with different requirements we need to pass to our professors and that made us too busy (one reason why I’ve been not posting that much). thus making me absent. I’m lucky to have an understanding aunt, she knows what are the things we need to prioritize first, and that is to go to school.

I’m on a school break right now and yesterday, I’ve already reported at the office. One thing I love a about the place were the people, they’re always so good and kind to me. They noticed my absence, they asked me what happened and then I explained to them almost everything. I’ll be doing my usual office routine again, scan-check-verify-scan-check-verify-scan-check-verify.
I didn’t like the idea of having a mini fan installed at my desk that much, the place is too cold already and it also made me feel so sleepy. I borrowed the extra phone of my office mate, decided to listen to the radio to somehow remove the lazy mood that I have. Funny how the way a DJ plays a random song on the radio could actually mean something for a fan girl. I was randomly searching for a radio station. first stop RX 93.1 I tuned in because I heard a good track and then the next on the playlist was John’s “Your Body is a Wonderland” and I was like O.O wow! and then enjoyed listening to his voice and the sound of his guitar again. Next, I listened to Mellow 94.7 because I love the songs they put on air. The moment I heard the intro of “Say” that made me happy, he’s on my ears again. Srsly, I feel like I’ve been given a fan girl treat over the radio by that time. I’m still thrilled of what happened yesterday, I hope it will happen again, everyday… hahahaha.
It’s already 3:30AM here at my place, I’m tired. I’ll be spending the next four hours with my bed, I need some sleep. thanks for being here. good night! :)
Starting today, this blog will be more like a personal space for me. what do I mean?

I am currently a trainee of the Philippine Junior Marketing Organization, the largest national alliance of Marketing students coming from different school here in our country. It equip its members with the tools and principles in marketing through its best trainings and seminars. We help in organizing events that will give students actual application of some things that we learn in school. MAD WORLD 3D is the flagship event of the year for the organization, to participate and be able to work with these people has been one great learning experience for me.
All of the trainees and the rest of the PJMA NEB are expected to be at the venue at around 6am, we need to prepare and talk about the final tasks we need to accomplish before and during the event given to us by the Proj. Director (Jaggy Jamias)

Some of the moments before the event started:

Some of us are in charge of helping the participating sponsors with the setting up of their booth and other important stuff.

Participants coming from different schools are expected to attend the said event, a line of students started to came in, had their goodies and visited the booths. The awaited guests and notable speakers came and then the conference has started.

The Keynote speaker of the event was Secretary Jimenez of Department of Tourism, He delivered his first public speech AFTER the release of the New Tourism Campaign “It’s more fun in the Philippines”

One of our speakers was the man behind the successful Coke Viral Campaigns (Ex. Coke Happiness Truck and the Coke OFW Christmas)
Mr. Tony Harris, Chief Executive - BBDO Guerrero :“Developing Campaigns: More Fun in the Philippines! The Creation of the New Philippines Tourism Campaign”

After their talk, a brand segment for Manila Ocean Park / Liquid Pool and Lounge was conducted. Students participated in answering trivias and questions.

Mr. Jos Ortega, CEO - JWT Manila “The Power of Social Media”

Mr. Donald Lim, Managing Director - MRM McCann WorldGroup - “Brand Marketing in the Digital Age”

and Mr. Tony Sarmiento, Chief Collaborator - Collab “Creative Solutions to Brand Challenges”
I feel so lucky to have the chance to hear this people speak about what they knew in the field I’m trying to love. I know there are inspiration to some students because of the contributions they had given for the industry. These are the things I think, I will never learn within the 4 corners of our classroom. Students like me should not only know the principles, we must learn how to apply them too.
I will never forget this experience. I repeat, never.
Thank you! PJMA! :)
